Privacy policy

vivianfitart ("we", "us") operates this storefront. Our catalog is sourced from and fulfilled through Shopify, our products are printed and shipped on demand by our print partner Printful, and payment is processed by Stripe. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse, create an account, or place an order, and how it's used.

Account data. If you sign up with email and password, we store your name, email address, and a bcrypt hash of your password — never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google; we never see your Google password.

Addresses. Shipping and billing addresses you save to your account or enter at checkout (name, street address, city, state/province, postal code, country, phone).

Orders. A record of what you bought, the price paid, and a snapshot of the shipping/billing address used at the time — kept even if you later edit or delete that address from your account, so past orders stay accurate.

Payment data. We do not collect or store your card number, expiry, or CVC. Checkout fields for card details are rendered by Stripe directly in your browser and submitted to Stripe's servers, not ours; we only receive a confirmation and a Stripe payment reference.

Favorites and reviews. Products you favorite, and any ratings/reviews you submit (visible to other shoppers under your account name).

Cookies and local storage. See section 6.

• To create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
• To take payment (via Stripe) and place the resulting order with our fulfillment partners so your items get made and shipped.
• To show you your own order history, addresses, and favorites.
• To display reviews you've chosen to post.
• To respond when you contact us, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising — we don't currently run any advertising or analytics trackers on this site (see section 6).

We share only what each partner needs to do its job, and never sell it on:

• Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe receives your card details directly and, for fraud prevention, your billing details and IP address. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Shopify — hosts our product catalog and receives your name, email, shipping address, and order contents to record the order and route it to fulfillment. See Shopify's privacy policy.
• Printful — our print-on-demand manufacturer, receives your name and shipping address (not your email or payment details) to print and ship your order. See Printful's privacy policy.
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google", to authenticate you.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of vivianfitart, our customers, or others.

We ship worldwide, and our service providers (Stripe, Shopify, Printful, Google) process data in multiple countries, which may include locations outside your own. Where required, these providers rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU/UK/EEA.

We use two kinds of browser storage: cookies and localStorage. Nothing here is used for advertising.

• Strictly necessary (always on, no consent needed): a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and local storage that holds your shopping bag and your cookie choice itself. The site can't function without these.
• Preferences (optional): local storage that remembers your light/dark theme choice across visits. If declined, your theme resets to your system default each visit.
• Analytics (optional, currently unused): we don't run any analytics or advertising scripts on this site today. This setting is offered for transparency and will only take effect if that changes in the future.

Manage these anytime on the cookie settings page.

We keep account data for as long as your account is open. Order records are kept after that for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes, for as long as required by applicable law. Reviews remain visible until you delete your account or ask us to remove them.

Depending on where you live (this includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR and, for California residents, the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can view and edit your addresses, favorites, and order history directly from your account. For anything else — including deleting your account entirely — email privacy@vivianfitart.com and we'll act on it within 30 days.

This store is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
